OUR HISTORY
In 2020, a committed group of Fort Worth Animal Care & Control (FWACC) volunteers recognized that there were certain needs above and beyond what the City of Fort Worth could fund. To better address these needs, Cowtown Friends of FWACC was formed.
Cowtown Friends of FWACC is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board that is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of animals in the care of FWACC. Thousands of dogs and cats are helped every year and this support is made possible through generous donors and committed volunteers.

By raising these critical funds, Cowtown Friends of FWACC contributes to the health and wellbeing of Fort Worth’s homeless animals by funding life changing programs and services. We invite volunteers and the local community to be part of the effort, and if you are already a supporter, thank you for putting the animals first.
